If you’re a Main Streeter, you’ve likely heard of Emporia, Kansas. Our community has an amazing Main Street program, and we’ve worked very closely with them to help put our town on the map. Our team members have chaired or served on various committees and have attended National Main Street Conferences numerous times. We know Main Street’s four points by heart, and understand that success comes from concrete actions.
Because several of you have asked, we’re making our work available for sale as downloadable templates. We understand the importance of shopping locally, and we encourage you to work with your local designers or printers to complete your project. We’ve had great success with these projects locally, and we’re hoping to provide an affordable shortcut for other Main Street programs. Our Business Investment Guide, for example, took nearly 100 hours of planning, conceptualizing, organizing, researching, designing, writing, and collaborating with a team of people to complete. We know that economic restructuring is one of the most difficult tasks for any Main Street director, and you may not know where to start. Here’s a hint: take our work at a bargain price and modify it for your use!
